Job summary

KCD Builders Corporation is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. This full-time role focuses on planning, design, and execution of civil projects, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality outcomes for community infrastructure.

Responsibilities include site investigations, structural analysis, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site supervision, with collaboration across architects, PMs, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE licence or eligibility (Professional Engineer).
• Minimum 5–10 years of professional civil engineering experience.

• Design and develop civil engineering projects including site plans, drawings, and construction documents.
• Conduct site investigations, surveys, and assessments for feasibility and challenges.
• Perform structural analysis to ensure safety and codes compliance.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee on-site construction aligning with approved plans and specs.
• Conduct quality inspections and testing for contract compliance.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, contractors and stakeholders.

About the role

KCD Builders Corporation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant infrastructure and construction projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering quality outcomes that impact communities and drive the company's success.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop civil engineering projects including site plans, technical drawings, and construction documents utilising industry-standard software and tools
• Conduct site investigations, surveys, and assessments to evaluate project feasibility and identify potential challenges
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure project safety, stability, and compliance with building codes and regulations
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, project schedules and resource allocation plans
• Oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring work is executed according to approved plans and specifications
• Conduct quality inspections and testing to verify compliance with design standards and contractual requirements
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination
• Manage project documentation, including reports, permits, and correspondence
• Ensure all projects comply with environmental regulations, safety standards and local building codes
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineering staff and construction teams

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution
• Valid Professional Engineer (PE) licence or eligibility for licensure in the relevant jurisdiction
• Minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in civil engineering design, construction management, or structural engineering
• Strong proficiency with civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar applications
• Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, construction standards, safety regulations and environmental compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with capability to work effectively in team environments
• Project management experience and demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Experience with site supervision, quality control and construction inspection
• Knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting and resource planning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with project management tools is advantageous
