Job summary

Viventis Search Asia in Cebu is seeking a strategic Chief Human Resources Officer to lead the development and execution of the organization’s HR strategy. This executive role oversees talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development, HR operations, compliance, workforce planning, organizational development, and HR analytics.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in any four-year program.
• MBA is required.
• Minimum 5 years as CHRO or equivalent executive HR leader.
• Strong background in HR strategy, organizational development, and people management.
• Experience with HR analytics, metrics, and HR technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's vision and growth objectives.
• Serve as strategic adviser to executive leadership on workforce, culture, and organizational development.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, succession planning, and leadership-pipeline initiatives.
• Oversee employee relations, policies, and compliance with labor laws and DOLE requirements.
• Drive employee engagement, recognition, well-being, diversity, inclusion, and culture programs.
• Lead organizational change-management initiatives and strengthen acceptance of major transformations.
• Develop competitive salary structures, benefits, total rewards, and performance-based incentives.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, retirement plans, and compensation administration.
• Lead performance-management systems, goal setting, evaluations, feedback, and productivity improvements.

About the role

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will lead the development and execution of the organization's overall human resources strategy. This executive role is responsible for strengthening organizational capability, developing future leaders, improving employee productivity and engagement, and ensuring that HR programs remain aligned with the company's business objectives. The CHRO will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development, HR operations, compliance, workforce planning, organizational development, and HR analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's vision, values, and growth objectives.
• Serve as a strategic adviser to executive leadership on workforce, culture, organizational development, and human capital matters.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, succession planning, and leadership-pipeline initiatives.
• Oversee employee relations, administrative cases, workplace policies, and compliance with labor laws and DOLE requirements.
• Drive employee engagement, recognition, well-being, diversity, inclusion, and organizational culture programs.
• Lead organizational change-management initiatives and strengthen employee acceptance of major business transformations.
• Develop competitive salary structures, benefits, total rewards, and performance-based incentive programs.
• Oversee payroll, employee benefits, retirement plans, and compensation administration.
• Lead performance-management systems, goal setting, employee evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and productivity-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year degree program.
• Master of Business Administration is required.
• At least five years of experience as a Chief Human Resources Officer, Vice President for Human Resources, or equivalent executive HR leader.
• Extensive experience in HR strategy, organizational development, talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and HR operations.
• Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulatory compliance, strategic workforce planning, and change management.
• Experience in HR analytics, metrics, HR technology, and digital transformation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and decision-making capability.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical judgment.
• PMAP, PSOF, SHRM, or other people-management certifications are an advantage.
