Job summary

QPCC - LA LOCA SpanishRestaurant is seeking a kitchen staff member to assist in maintaining top quality in food preparation and hygiene. You will help control waste, ensure accurate inter-kitchen transfers, and support menu updates with new dishes and presentations.

The role involves training subordinates, promoting environmentally friendly practices, and performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor. Immediate start is preferred and Clark, Pampanga relocation is required.

Qualifications

• Secondary schooling or equivalent technical school.
• 3–5 years of related work experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Can start immediately.
• Amenable to work in Clark, Pampanga.

Responsibilities

• Assist superior in maintaining highest standards of quality in food preparation and hygiene.
• Controls food wastage, without compromising on food quality.
• Ensures inter-kitchen food transfers are accurate and conform to hotel policy.
• Recommends changes in systems and procedures to increase efficiency and improve service levels.
• Recommends changes in menu at the time of new menu by introducing new dishes/presentations.
• Provides on-the-job training and coaching for subordinates.
• Adheres to environmentally friendly practices such as: reduce waste, recycle when possible and reuse.
• Performs other functions and duties which may be assigned by the immediate superior.
