Job summary

PerkinElmer Scientific (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. in the Philippines seeks a Channel Support Manager to support and develop authorized distributors, expand market coverage, and provide technical product expertise for analytical instrumentation.

You will train distributor sales and service teams, gather market insights, and align plans with the company’s AOP. Travel across the Philippines is required.

Job description

The Channel Support Manager is responsible for supporting the development of PerkinElmer's product portfolio in Philippines through the management, enablement, and development of authorized channel partners and distributors. The role focuses on providing technical expertise, product knowledge, application support, market intelligence, and distributor capability development to strengthen channel partner effectiveness and expand market coverage. All commercial transactions, quotations, negotiations, contracting, order processing, and sales activities are executed by authorized local distributors in accordance with local regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support authorized channel partners by supporting execution of distributor business plans, identifying new market opportunities, expanding product adoption, and enabling distributors to achieve agreed business objectives aligned with the Company's Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with authorized distributors and channel partners across Indonesia
• Support channel partners in developing business plans, market coverage strategies, and customer engagement initiatives aligned with regional business objectives
• Monitor distributor performance, identify capability gaps, and recommend improvement plans to enhance market penetration and customer coverage
• Serve as the technical and product subject matter expert for the assigned product portfolio
• Deliver product, application, and technical training programs to distributor sales, application, and service teams
• Support distributors in product demonstrations, technical presentations, seminars, workshops, and customer education programs
• Collaborate with channel partners to identify market trends, competitive activities, emerging applications, and customer needs
• Participate in customer visits jointly with authorized distributors to provide technical expertise and product support
• Maintain accurate records of market activities, distributor engagements, product opportunities, and business development initiatives

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or related scientific discipline
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in analytical instrumentation, laboratory solutions, life science, or related industries
• Experience working with distributors, channel partners, or indirect commercial models
• Strong technical and application knowledge in analytical instrumentation and laboratory workflows
• Experience delivering technical training, workshops, and product demonstrations
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix and regional organization
• Willingness to travel extensively within Philippines
