Job summary

DSV Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Business Support Assistant for Carrier Rates Management to handle rate sheets, update the GPM system, and ensure data accuracy while meeting quality, timeliness, and productivity KPIs.

You will collaborate with Trade Lane Managers, maintain Cherwell/ServiceNow tickets, and contribute to process improvements through proactive problem solving and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Background in freight forwarding or logistics is an advantage.
• Experience with Tender/Rate management, Sales, and Commercial processes is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook/Excel – Intermediate to Advanced).
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Upload carrier/client rate sheets into the GPM system, including ocean rates, surcharges, and arbitrary charges.
• Ensure input data accuracy to prevent system errors.
• Communicate issues to Trade Lane Logistics Manager and suggest actionable solutions.
• Propose process improvements based on identified challenges and issues.
• Process and update workload allocations, prioritising tickets from the Trade Lane Manager to meet KPIs.
• Follow SOP for updating carrier rate sheets, uploading into the GPM system, and applying special instructions.
• Maintain ticket status in Cherwell/ServiceNow and mark tickets as Resolved when uploads are completed.
• Actively contribute process improvement ideas during stand-ups.
• Accurately update nominated systems and trackers and assist in report development.
