Job Description

• The Captain Waiter plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service for events and catering functions. This position is responsible for leading and coordinating waitstaff to ensure seamless and high-quality food and beverage service that meets client expectations and enhances guest experiences. The Captain Waiter is involved in all aspects of service, from pre-event setup to post-event breakdown, and acts as the main liaison between the service team, kitchen staff, and event organizers.
• The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining excellent service standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Captain Waiter is proactive in managing guest requests, overseeing service flow, and ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols, while also handling any issues or adjustments that arise during the event.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pre-event setup, including table arrangements, decorations, and serving stations, ensuring all elements align with the event requirements.
• Lead waitstaff and coordinate with the kitchen to provide smooth, timely, and high-quality service.
• Greet and assist guests, offering guidance on menu selections and addressing special requests or dietary needs.
• Supervise and train waitstaff, assigning tasks and ensuring all team members adhere to service standards.
