Qualifications

• At least 2 years of café experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Barista experience and knowledge of matcha preparation is an advantage.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Customer-service oriented with a professional demeanor.
• Organized, attentive to details, and able to multitask.
• Able to coach and motivate team members.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to work independently when required.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Café Manager.
• Lead the team during assigned shifts.
• Prepares beverages and food according to approved recipes and SOPs
• Maintain consistency in portioning, presentation, and product quality.
• Ensure proper execution of opening, service, and closing procedures.
• Monitor customer service and ensure guests receive prompt, warm, and professional service.
• Ensure drinks and food are prepared according to approved recipes and standards.
• Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the café.
• Monitor staff attendance punctuality, and grooming.
• Prepare or assist with reports and other required documentation.
• Communicate important operational concerns to the Café Manager.
