Job description

MARKETING AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

• 1. Responsible for the conduct of business development of the branch in accordance with established business objectives.
• 2. Review adequacy of marketing collaterals such as brochures, letterheads, streamers, and posters and other POS materials.
• 3. Ensures upkeep of branch premises to promote good housekeeping and excellent customer service.
• 4. Reviews previous equipment maintenance and efficiency for smooth and orderly operational convenience.
• 5. Ensures security and safety of the entire branch by regularly checking on branch security guards, checking the branch premise making sure that all security protocols are in place and the branch is free from any hazards that may cause, accidents, fire, theft, or the like.
• 6. Monitors repairs and maintenance of the premises as well as inventory of equipment, furniture and all bank assets.
• 7. Monitors all events/happenings within the branch’s trading area for possible BTL collaborations and activities which will benefit the branch and the community it belongs to.
• 8. Promote a sound leadership, maintaining good interpersonal and customer relationships for the benefit of all team members and clients alike.
• 9. Assign KRA’s for each and every member of the team to ensure that everything is being covered and nothing is left unattended.
• 10. Ensure that the lines along the counters if any are managed well by regularly monitoring and implementing a workable queuing system.
• 11. Be creative and resourceful in terms of bringing in fee-based income for the branch i.e maximize the potential of bills payment, ATM usage, FOREX, etc.
• 12. Be always on the loop and active within the community, maintain good relations and communication with the local government offices and barangay.

SALES AND SERVICE

• 1. Responsible in attaining branch target volume for both loans and deposits, acquisition of new accounts, consolidation and retention of existing and bringing in new to bank clients.
• 2. Cross selling, up selling, deepening and strengthening of client relationships.
• 3. Reviews current volume using segmentation and “tiering” parameters set by management.
• 4. Accomplishment and updating of the daily sales calls report.
• 5. Conducts profitability analysis of the branch as well as the current deposit mix ratio and come up with the sales plan tailor fit to address shortfalls.
• 6. Reviews service results and plan; strategize with Branch Service Head and other team members on how to improve service delivery.
• 7. Ensures the branch is geared towards profitability and be able to identify as to what and which areas need attention, focusing on end results.
• 8. Regularly reviews branch accounts. Possibly convert or recover near dormant accounts into active accounts by engaging.
