• Ensures quality of service by branch staff; oversees timely account servicing and resolves customer concerns.
• Monitors movement of accounts to identify potential business opportunities.
• Supervises branch functions, meetings and planning in line with bank policies and reporting requirements.
• Acts as authorized signatory via Board resolutions for branch transactions up to approved ceilings.
• Performs marketing of the bank's products across the branch network.
• Analyzes capital budgets and controllable expenses to improve cost effectiveness and profitability.
• Addresses financial consumer issues promptly to ensure protection and satisfaction per BSP guidelines.

About the role

Performs overall branch management and promotes the Bank's products and services, and credit and loan products to ensure achievement of targets and maintain good client relations as well as the proper implementation of Bank policies and procedures and timely submission of reports. This position acts as Bank signatory through Board Resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Develops marketing strategies, plans and programs needed to ensure achievement of performance targets.
• Monitors significant accomplishments; provides marketing support whenever necessary to capture available opportunities.
• Develops overall harmony in employee management and coaching ability to maximize employee performance and strive to a better employee-employer relationship.
• Monitors quality of service rendered by field and office personnel to maintain good client relations. Ensures fast, timely and reliable servicing of accounts; renders timely corrective measures to remedy customer complaints, answers inquiries or addresses concerns raised by clients.
• Monitors movement of accounts, studies the peculiarities of each account to identify business potentials.
• Supervises the overall branch functions including branch employees, not limited to meetings and planning for further developments and to comply with the Bank's policies, procedures and reporting requirements.
• Acts as authorized signatory through Board resolutions for all branch transactions including expenses up to the approved ceiling.
• Performs marketing of various products offered by the Bank.
• Analyze capital budgets and controllable expenses to find opportunities for cost effectiveness and maximize profitability.
• Address financial consumer issues and queries in an accurate and timely manner to ensure financial consumer protection and satisfaction in consonance with BSP Circular 857.
