The Qualifications We Seek
Essential Competencies
- 1 to 5 years of proven success in a sales role
- Experience with high-volume calls
- Experience providing face-to-face sales support
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, specifically Salesforce
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to occasionally work outside standard business hours, including weekends, to attend scheduled expos, community events, or industry events
Desirable Competencies
- Understanding of NDIS, CHSP, HCP, NSW iCare, and Private Packages
- Previous sales experience within the disability or aged care sector
- Experience using the My Aged Care (MAC) portal
Your Daily Tasks
Business Development
- Promote and secure services from existing and prospective clients to increase sales.
- Grow business across low-care and high-complexity needs, including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Plan Management, Support Coordination, Core Supports, Home Care Packages, and private clients.
- Support quality and cost-effective interventions and outcomes.
- Generate SIL and SDA leads to support occupancy across available properties.
- Follow established Sales Excellence processes and procedures.
- Build and maintain alliances with Rotary clubs, rehabilitation hospitals, nursing homes, and pharmacy groups.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Level 2 and Level 3 Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators, Social Workers, Allied Health professionals, and Case Managers.
- Strengthen referral partnerships and alliances to generate a consistent pipeline of new leads.
- Review CRM leads and opportunities and convert qualified prospects into won opportunities.
- Attend sales events, exhibitions, seminars, and meetings to generate leads, increase sales, and strengthen brand awareness.
- Participate in community and social engagement events to promote the brand.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Assist prospective clients with informed decisions about available services.
- Deliver outstanding service to existing and prospective clients.
- Maintain consistent and personalized communication with clients.
Compliance, Quality & Safety
- Identify quality improvement opportunities and communicate them to the Quality & Risk team.
- Develop and implement quality improvements across the Operations team.
- Maintain current knowledge of aged care and disability support industry trends and developments.
- Follow and advocate for company values and behaviors.
- Comply with Workplace Health and Safety obligations and legislative requirements.
- Follow applicable professional standards, protocols, rules, and regulations.
- Protect the rights, confidentiality, and dignity of existing and prospective clients.
