Job summary

Bureau Veritas S.A. is seeking a talented Business Development Officer - Oil and Gas to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This full-time role focuses on driving new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector and building strong relationships with decision-makers across the region.

You will develop sales strategies, prepare compelling proposals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent service while traveling within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in oil & gas.
• Proven track record of identifying, pursuing and closing new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel within the region to meet clients and attend events.

About the role

1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar business development or sales role, preferably within the oil and gas industry

2. Proven track record of successfully identifying, pursuing and closing new business opportunities

3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels

4. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

5. Proficient in using CRM systems and data analysis tools to drive sales

6. Degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field

7. Willingness to travel within the region to meet with clients and attend industry events
