Job summary

Yngen Datacom Corp. in the Philippines seeks a results-driven Business Development Officer to expand our healthcare and pharmaceutical market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow assigned key accounts and strategic customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, pharmacies, distributors, procurement teams, and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential accounts.
  • Create account strategies and sales plans to achieve business and revenue targets.
  • Present products and solutions to customers and identify opportunities to increase product utilization.
  • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting and presentations to negotiation, tender participation, order generation, and implementation.
  • Develop and pursue tender opportunities and support account growth.
  • Monitor sales performance, account activities, product utilization, inventory, and market opportunities.
  • Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, customer needs, product availability, and industry trends.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, account plans, business projections, and regular sales/activity reports.
  • Develop strategies to increase market share and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with Marketing and other internal teams to implement customer-focused campaigns, events, conventions, exhibitions, and other initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, product availability, delivery, documentation, and customer support.
  • Proactively identify account challenges and recommend solutions.
  • Provide regular updates on account performance, sales opportunities, market developments, and business challenges.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in any 4-year course.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical, hospital, or institutional sales is highly preferred.

  • Experience in Business Development, Key Account Management, Sales, or Account Management is an advantage.

  • Sales management experience is preferred.

  • Experience handling hospitals, pharmacies, distributors, procurement teams, or institutional accounts is a strong advantage.

  • Good understanding of the healthcare/pharmaceutical market.

  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong business sense with the ability to identify and develop sales opportunities.

  • Good analytical, planning, forecasting, and reporting skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented.

  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with different teams.

  • Professional, confident, and customer-focused personality.

Work Requirements
  • Willing to conduct regular customer visits and field work.

  • Willing to travel within and outside your assigned area, including other parts of the Philippines, as business needs require.

  • Willing to attend client meetings, conventions, exhibitions, tenders, and other business-related activities.

  • Willing to prepare and submit regular sales, account, market, and activity reports.

  • Flexible to work beyond regular hours when required by business or customer needs.

  • Able to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
