Job summary

Wisefund Finance Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a Strategic Analyst to drive market intelligence, competitive benchmarking, and corporate planning. You will gather and interpret market data, prepare reports for the President and CEO, and help shape strategic initiatives.

The role emphasizes data analytics, dashboard development (KPIs, sales trends, market share), and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to implement executive directives efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field.
• Master's degree is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate planning, strategic research, market intelligence, or data analytics.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management.
• Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular market scanning and competitor benchmarking (pricing, products/services, positioning, strategies).
• Prepare competitive intelligence reports and SWOT analyses for executive review.
• Monitor industry trends, threats, and emerging opportunities that may affect the company's market position.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and untapped markets.
• Gather, consolidate, analyze, and interpret business, sales, and market data to support corporate strategic planning.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reports (KPIs, sales trends, market share, growth metrics) for executive use.
• Provide data-backed recommendations and forecasts to guide strategic decisions.
• Report findings, insights, and recommendations directly to the President and CEO on a regular basis.
• Support strategic planning sessions, board presentations, and executive decision-making.
• Translate high-level executive directives into actionable plans and monitor implementation.
• Coordinate with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations) to align on corporate strategic initiatives without overlapping existing Business Development department functions.
