We are looking for a Business Development Executive who can help us find, develop, and convert new business opportunities. This is not just an account-servicing role. We need someone who is proactive, street-smart, resourceful, commercially aware, and able to work with integrity.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across OEM/private label, institutional, corporate, retail, food service, and other potential channels
Actively prospect for new customers through calls, email, referrals, networking, trade events, business matching, and other channels
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects and business opportunities
Meet prospective clients, understand their business requirements, and identify products or manufacturing solutions that CDVI can offer
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, product presentations, samples, and commercial offers
Manage opportunities from initial contact to sampling, costing, negotiation, trial order, and commercial launch
Conduct consistent follow-ups and move opportunities toward conversion
Develop strong, professional relationships with new and existing customers
Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through new products and projects
Coordinate closely with R&D/Product Development, Production, QA, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Management to deliver customer requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Food Technology, or another relevant field
Experience in B2B sales or business development is preferred
Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, ingredients, food service, retail, institutional accounts, or related industries is an advantage
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Comfortable approaching new people, initiating conversations, and developing new business relationships
Street-smart and resourceful — able to read situations, find opportunities, solve practical problems, and think on your feet
Works with integrity — honest, professional, trustworthy, and accountable in handling customers, pricing, company information, and business relationships
Commercially aware and able to balance customer requirements with the company's business interests
Proactive and persistent, with strong follow-through
Organized and disciplined in managing multiple leads and opportunities
