Job Overview

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) Philippines is a joint venture between Globe, Ayala and STT GDC. The role focuses on leading and ensuring the successful implementation of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program across divisional and site levels.

Responsibilities

• Co‑own the BCM Program, taking full accountability for its successful implementation at the Division level.
• Coach assigned Groups or Divisions, facilitate goal‑oriented BCM program planning, and ensure buy‑in and ownership by Divisional Planners and Functional Champions.
• Provide general direction to site managers on the facilitation of regular site assessment and audit of mission‑critical sites.
• Supervise implementation by concerned groups of site‑wide and area‑wide full blown exercises.
• Ensure that functional Groups have approved, well‑documented, cascaded, regularly tested, updated, and audited BCM programs, and that team members are trained.
• Drive and review regular BCM activities based on committed program calendars, including: plan updating (Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessment, and Documentation), self‑assessment, exercising, intra‑division/group training, and awareness roll‑out.
• Implement BCMS in groups and sites not currently included in the BCMS Scope, issue PACA memos, review and approve preventive and corrective actions, and elevate open risk items to Group Heads.
• Certify compliance of critical vendors with the company’s BCM requirements.
• Review and certify completion and correctness of Site Disaster Management Plans (SDMPs), approve exercising/test plans and results for SDMPs and Functional Business Continuity Plans.
• Orchestrate enterprise‑wide activities: employee and role‑based training programs, awareness campaigns, and strict enforcement of documentation control.
• During Severity 1 and 0 incidents, liaise with respective Groups under the direct supervision of the BCM Director to ensure proper execution of plans.
• Improve processes of mission‑critical teams for better efficiency and recoverability during incidents.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in business continuity management, with a minimum of 2 years in a team lead role; telecommunication industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Emergency Management, or a closely related field.
• Professional certifications: Business Continuity Management Certifications (preferably as Lead Implementer), Crisis and Incident Management, Risk Management Certifications or equivalent.
