Yamaha Motor Philippines is seeking a Business Continuity professional to design and implement robust BCP and DR plans, conduct BIAs and risk assessments, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure resilience of the supply chain.
You will lead testing, training, and incident response efforts, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvement in line with ISO 22301/NIST standards. This on-site role is based at headquarters in Malvar, Batangas.
Plan Development and Implementation : Designs, develops, and maintains comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans, including crisis management, communication, and business impact analysis.
Risk Assessment: Conducts regular business impact analyses (BIAs) and risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to the organization's critical functions and assets.
Policy and Procedure Management: Creates, updates and enforces BCP policies, procedures and standards across the organization to ensure compliance and a consistent approach to business continuity.
Training and Awareness: Develops and delivers training programs and awareness campaigns to educate employees on their roles and responsibilities during business disruption.
Testing and Exercises: Organizes and facilitates regular BCP exercises, such as tabletop simulations and live drills, to test effectiveness of existing plans and identify areas for improvement.
Incident Response: Serves as key member of the incident response team during an actual crisis, providing guidance and support to ensure a coordinated and effective response.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Collaborates with internal departments, external vendors, and key stakeholders to align BCP strategies with overall business objectives and ensures the resilience of the supply chain.
Documentation and Reporting : Maintains meticulous documentation of BCP plans, test results, and incidents. Prepares and presents reports on BCP readiness and performance to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement : Stays current with industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory requirements related to business continuity and disaster recovery, integrating new knowledge into the organization's BCP program.
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Emergency Management, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery or risk management role.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g ISO 22301, NIST).
Proficiency in project management tools and BCP software is an advantage.
With BCP related certifications is advantage.
