Job Description:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Reporting & Data Analyst to support operational reporting, data management, and ad-hoc business requests. The ideal candidate is an Excel expert who enjoys working with data, identifying patterns, solving problems, and transforming raw information into accurate and meaningful reports.
This role requires advanced Excel skills, strong critical thinking abilities, and a proactive mindset when handling reporting challenges. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering timely reporting solutions with minimal supervision.
The position requires flexibility for shifting schedules and/or night shifts, with the option to work onsite at IPC (Intellectual Property Office) Building, Taguig.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams across departments to gather requirements, identify trends, and support decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Create, maintain, and improve Excel-based reports, trackers, and dashboards.
- Clean, validate, organize, and manage large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop formulas, Pivot Tables, charts, and automated spreadsheets to improve reporting efficiency.
- Utilize basic to intermediate Macros/VBA to streamline repetitive tasks and automate data pipelines to ensure data integrity through cleaning and validation.
- Analyze reporting requirements and provide accurate, actionable outputs.
- Investigate data discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis to ensure data quality.
- Generate recurring, non-executive, and ad-hoc reports within required timelines.
- Document processes and reporting logic to ensure consistency and repeatability.
- Use idle or low-activity time productively to improve product knowledge, reporting techniques, and analytical skills.
- Manage ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data.
- Monitor data quality and resolve any inconsistencies or errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Influential Stakeholders, Support and Production Group, to ensure efficient integration and process flow.
Qualifications:
1. Experience & Exposure (Preferably 1-2 years of experience)
- Background in Business Management, Data Science and/or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complexformulas and functions, pivot tables and charts, MACRO/VBA, Power Query and Data Validation Techniques.
- Skilled in cleaning, structuring, and validating data from various sources.
- Strong experience in data cleaning, data organization, and data accuracy verification.
- Ability to efficiently manage and analyze large datasets.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Intermediate to Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).

Work Conditions:
- Shift Schedule: Must be flexible in shifting schedules and night shifts.
- Onsite Work: Willingness to work onsite at IPC (Intellectual Property Office) Building, Taguig.
- Must be comfortable working fast-paced, data-driven environment with shifting priorities.
- Expected to manage workload effectively, balance prioritization of task and ability work independently with minimal supervision.
- During periods of lower task volume or idle time, the employee is expected to engage in continuous learning, familiarization and knowledge improvement - such as improving Excel skills (Syntax & Macro), exploring new Reporting and/or Dashboard creation techniques, Automation Techniques, Familiarity in M365 Tools and/or deepening product and business knowledge of eData Services.
