Job summary

KMC Solutions in Cebu City is seeking accounting professionals to support a US-based client with financial, accounting, and investor reporting tasks.

The role emphasizes strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and solid Excel experience (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). It is a fully onsite position at Cebu IT Park, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM PHT, starting Sept 28, 2026. Good English communication is required; exposure to data analytics or banking is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related analytical field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience preferred, but 1–2 years may be considered.
• Strong analytical and numerical reasoning skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Support financial, accounting, and investor reporting activities.
• Perform reporting, reconciliation, research, root cause identification, resolution, and remediation of financial and reporting exceptions.
• Analyze financial data, variances, trends, and discrepancies.
• Perform loan- and pool-level data checks and reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports and supporting documentation.
• Investigate exceptions and identify the root cause of discrepancies.
• Use Excel to organize, analyze, and validate financial data.
• Support monthly reporting and ensure key metrics and data are accurate.
• Follow established procedures, controls, and reporting deadlines.
• Participate in process improvement and other analytical projects.
• Communicate findings clearly with internal teams and clients.

About the Role

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related analytical field.

• Approximately 2–4 years of professional experience is preferred, but 1–2 years may also be considered.

• Advanced degree holders with limited professional experience are also encouraged to apply.

• Strong analytical and numerical reasoning skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.

• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Some exposure to accounting, finance, reconciliation, banking, reporting, or data analysis is preferred.

• Willingness to learn and develop professionally in a financial reporting environment.

• Able to work fully onsite in Cebu IT Park from 9:00 AM–6:00 PM PHT, Monday–Friday.

• Must be available to start on September 28, 2026.

Nice to Have
