Emapta Philippines is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to strengthen operational controls, improve workflows, and translate business requirements into effective solutions. This role offers permanent work-from-home with international exposure and a focus on energy markets.

You will collaborate across borders, analyze processes, document requirements, and support testing and implementation efforts. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in business or operations analysis, advanced Excel skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, Process Analyst, or in a similar role
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP, advanced functions, Power Query, advanced data analytics, PivotTable creation, and VBA
• Strong business analysis and data analysis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical documentation and business writing skills
• Strong analytical, logical-thinking, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Aptitude for quickly understanding new business processes and systems

Responsibilities

• Perform and support bill audits to ensure billing accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Maintain and validate market data to ensure quality, consistency, and timely updates.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports in accordance with business and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and monitor service tickets to ensure timely investigation, resolution, escalation, and communication of issues.
• Analyze operational data to identify discrepancies, anomalies, and areas requiring corrective action.
• Support recurring operational activities and ensure adherence to established procedures and controls.
• Analyze business processes, workflows, and operational activities to identify risks and inefficiencies.
• Gather, document, and clarify business requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
• Develop a strong understanding of business processes and systems to support operational and project initiatives.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process maps, workflows, business requirements, functional specifications, user guides, work instructions, testing documentation, and deployment support materials.
• Ensure documentation is organized, accurate, current, and easily understood by business and technical audiences.
• Support knowledge sharing and maintain documentation standards across operational processes.
• Assist with project activities, including solution reviews, testing, and implementation support.
• Participate in UAT, track defects, and validate system enhancements.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Develop the technical understanding needed to communicate business requirements and support technology initiatives.
• Identify improvement opportunities, control gaps, and automation opportunities.
• Recommend and support the implementation of process enhancements and operational best practices that align with business objectives.
