Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in banking operations or related banking tech roles.
• Proven BA experience translating business needs into tech requirements.
• Strong knowledge of banking systems, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with core banking platforms and databases.
• Excellent documentation and test case creation.
• Awareness of Agile/Waterfall project methodologies.
• Amenable to full onsite work setup.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time, onsite position that plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technology solutions within the banking sector. As a Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving digital transformation initiatives and ensuring that our technology solutions align with business objectives. Your expertise in banking operations and systems will be vital to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements from stakeholders within the banking sector
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact analyses for proposed business and technology solutions
• Create detailed functional specifications, use cases and process flows for development teams
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers and project managers to ensure successful project delivery
• Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination and validation to ensure solutions meet business needs
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend optimisations to enhance operational efficiency
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, system configurations and solution designs
• Provide post-implementation support and perform root cause analysis for any issues that arise
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders to facilitate clear communication
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring system performance and suggesting enhancements

Minimum Qualifications

• Banking sector experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in banking operations, financial services or related banking technology roles
• Business analysis expertise: Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Systems and processes knowledge: Strong understanding of banking systems, workflows and regulatory compliance requirements in the financial sector
• Technical proficiency: Familiarity with banking platforms, core banking systems and relevant software tools; knowledge of databases and system architectures is advantageous
• Documentation skills: Excellent ability to create clear, comprehensive documentation including requirements specifications, process flows and test cases
• Stakeholder management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and work effectively across multiple levels of an organisation
• Problem-solving capability: Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex business problems and propose pragmatic solutions
• Project management basics: Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall or similar frameworks
• Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to gathering requirements and ensuring accuracy in documentation and testing
• Must be amenable on a Full Onsite work set up
