Job summary

WeSupport, Inc. is seeking an IT Business Analyst to understand business needs, gather requirements, and design processes for system development. The role focuses on controlling project scope, delivering high-level estimates, and guiding teams through BRD/FSD creation and sign-off.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years in BA roles, strong SDLC knowledge, and experience with SIT/UAT, Go-Live, and post-implementation support, preferably in FinTech or banking environments.

About the role

This role involves understanding business needs and gathering requirements for system development, designing and modifying business processes to implement business transformation solutions, and controlling project scope to meet timelines. You will provide high-level estimates based on business requirements, manage the team, and represent a point of escalation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related field

• At least 3–5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in Banking, Financial Services, Lending, or FinTech

• Proven experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution design for system development and enhancement projects

• Strong experience in preparing and maintaining Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Process Flow Diagrams, and Business Process Documentation

• Experience in analyzing and improving business processes to support digital transformation initiatives

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies

• Experience collaborating with business users, project managers, developers, QA teams, and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle

• Experience supporting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Go-Live, and Post Go-Live activities, including test scenario and test case review

• Ability to manage multiple requirements and prioritize deliverables while ensuring project scope and timelines are maintained

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

• Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer finance, digital lending, banking operations, or financial services is highly preferred. (non-negotiable)

  • Previous experience working with external vendors or third-party system providers. (non-negotiable)

  • Experience leading small initiatives or mentoring junior Business Analysts is an advantage. (non-negotiable)

Key responsibilities
