Job summary

CBRE Building Engineer position at McKinley Hill, Taguig seeks a licensed mechanical or electrical engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and roofing.

You will perform preventive maintenance, energy audits, and collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure compliance and optimize performance; shift work 6 days a week may apply, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in Facilities or Building systems.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Amenable to work on a shifting schedule, 6 days a week, weekends/ holidays.
• Can start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair building systems: Identify and fix issues with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Perform routine maintenance: Schedule and conduct regular maintenance tasks to prevent system failures.
• Inspect and test systems: Regularly inspect and test building systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Collaborate with other teams: Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to design and implement building system upgrades.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans: Create and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal system performance.
• Conduct energy audits: Identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and implement energy-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with regulations: Ensure building systems comply with relevant laws, codes, and regulations.
