Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Building Engineer for McKinley Hill, Taguig. You will monitor, maintain and repair building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and related infrastructure.

Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with at least 2 years in facilities or building systems is preferred, and you must be able to work a 6-day rotating schedule. The role reports to the Engineering and Technical Services team at CBRE.

Qualifications

• Licensed mechanical or electrical engineer with 2+ years in facilities or building systems.
• Strong knowledge of building systems: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Willing to work a 6-day rotating schedule, weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair building systems: Identify and fix issues with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Perform routine maintenance: Schedule and conduct regular maintenance tasks to prevent system failures.
• Inspect and test systems: Regularly inspect and test building systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Collaborate with other teams: Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to design and implement building system upgrades.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans: Create and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal system performance.
• Conduct energy audits: Identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and implement energy-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with regulations: Ensure building systems comply with relevant laws, codes, and regulations.
