Job summary

The Philippine Bank of Communications (PBCOM) is seeking a Branch Service Officer to perform teller, vault/ATM operations, and account opening in line with policies to pass audits.

Responsibilities include timely investigation of AMLA alerts/STR/CTR, reviewing and approving select transactions, and engaging clients to open new accounts or cross-sell to achieve growth targets. The role is based at G/F NE Pacific Mall, Maharlika Hwy, Cabanatuan City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a service-oriented field.
• 3–5 years branch banking experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Willing to be assigned at G/F NE Pacific Mall, Km.11, Maharlika Hi-way, Cabanatuan City.

Responsibilities

• Timely investigation of AMLA alerts/STR/CTR/infractions/fraudulent activity and submission of required documents.
• Review and approve select transactions not processed by themselves (e.g., account openings for Savings/Payroll accounts; account maintenance; sign MC’s jointly with another officer).
• Engage clients to open new accounts and seek growth opportunities through cross-selling and account consolidation to meet sales targets.

Job description

The Branch Service Officer performs the full range of teller, vault/ATM operations, account opening and TD transactions for the Bank in accordance with set policies and procedures to achieve passing Internal, Compliance and BSP audits.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible to ensure timely investigation of AMLA alerts/STR/CTR/Infractions/Fraudulent et al, reporting and submission of required documents.
• Responsible to review, and approve select transactions he/she did not process such as but not limited to: account opening for Savings and Payroll Accounts; Account Maintenance transactions; sign MC’s jointly with another officer; etc.
• Engages clients to open new accounts and/or seek growth opportunities through cross-selling and account consolidation in a consistently efficient, delightful and customer-centric manner to achieve set sales related targets and quotas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or a service-oriented program
• At least three to five years of branch banking experience, preferably in a supervisory role
• Willing to be assigned at G/F NE Pacific Mall, Km.11, Maharlika Hi-way, Cabanatuan City
