Job summary

UCPB Savings Bank, Inc. is seeking a Branch Manager to ensure policy and regulatory compliance at the branch, manage operational risks, and uphold high service standards.

The role highlights internal control adherence, productivity improvements, password security, and promoting the bank's image while carrying out duties assigned by the Immediate Superior. The ideal candidate has a college degree in business or related fields and 3–5 years of banking experience with strong knowledge of branch

Qualifications

• College graduate of business course or related field, preferably accounting, finance, management.
• 3–5 years of experience in a bank or financial institution.
• Strong command of all aspects of Branch Banking Products and Services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines and internal controls set by Management and regulators (BSP/SEC/BIR).
• Manage branch operational risks.
• Ensure adherence to internal control procedures while maintaining high service quality.
• Improve branch productivity.
• Maintain confidentiality of passwords and User IDs.
• Promote the bank’s corporate image.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Immediate Superior.

JOB SUMMARY / PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensures that all policies, guidelines, procedures, and internal controls set by Management and other regulatory bodies such as Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), etc., are complied with and undertaken by the Branch;

• Manages branch operational risks;

• Ensures adherence to existing internal control procedures while maintaining the highest quality of service;

• Ensures improvement of the Branch’s productivity;

• Ensures the confidentiality of passwords and assigned User IDs;

• Promotes Bank’s corporate image; and

• Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Immediate Superior.

QUALIFICATIONS

• College Graduate of business course or related field preferably accounting, finance, management, and the like;
• Three to five (3-5) years working in a bank or financial institution; and
• Good command of all aspects of Branch Banking Products and Service
