About the role

City Savings Bank is seeking an experienced Branch Operations Head to lead our Abulug Cagayan branch. This is a full-time position based in Abulug, Cagayan, where you will oversee all operational aspects of the branch, ensuring excellent customer service, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. As Branch Operations Head, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, staff supervision, and driving the branch's strategic objectives to achieve business targets and maintain City Savings Bank's reputation for excellence in retail banking.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all branch operations including cash management, reconciliation, and secure handling of funds to ensure accuracy and compliance with banking regulations
• Supervise and manage branch staff, including recruitment, training, performance management and development to maintain a motivated and efficient team
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, internal policies, and procedures, including anti-money laundering and customer due diligence requirements
• Drive customer service excellence by setting high standards and monitoring service quality across all customer interactions
• Manage branch profitability and work towards achieving sales targets for deposits, loans, and other banking products
• Maintain branch security protocols and safeguard assets, ensuring all security measures are properly implemented
• Resolve customer complaints and escalated issues promptly and professionally
• Monitor branch KPIs and prepare regular reports on financial performance, customer metrics and operational efficiency
• Liaise with head office departments to ensure smooth operations and support the implementation of new initiatives and systems
• Manage branch facilities and equipment to maintain a safe and professional environment for staff and customers

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in banking operations, branch management or a similar leadership role within retail banking
• Strong knowledge of retail banking products, services and operations
• Proven experience in staff management, including recruitment, training and performance management
• Excellent understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements and risk management procedures
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to manage branch budgets and analyse financial performance
• Exceptional customer service orientation with the ability to resolve complaints and build customer relationships
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in banking systems and MS Office applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
• Professional certification in banking operations or relevant qualifications is preferred
• Knowledge of the local market and community in Abulug Cagayan is advantageous
