Job summary

City Savings Bank is seeking a Branch Service Associate for its Dasmarinas City, Cavite branch. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, handling deposits/withdrawals, and assisting with account openings and inquiries.

You will promote bank products, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting daily branch operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional business or finance-related education is advantageous.
• Proven customer service experience, preferably in retail banking or financial services.
• Strong numeracy skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
• Proficiency with computer systems and banking software; experience with point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers warmly and professionally, providing assistance with banking inquiries and directing them to appropriate services
• Processing customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers and other banking services accurately and efficiently
• Opening and maintaining customer accounts whilst ensuring all documentation is completed correctly and in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assisting customers with balance inquiries, statement requests and resolution of account-related issues
• Promoting and cross-selling bank products and services such as savings accounts, loans and credit facilities to eligible customers
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring proper reconciliation of cash and transactions at the end of each business day
• Adhering to all security and fraud prevention protocols to protect customer information and bank assets
• Supporting branch operations by maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming environment for customers
• Collaborating with branch colleagues to achieve team targets and provide seamless customer service
• Keeping informed about current bank products, services, rates and policies to provide accurate information to customers

About the role

This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers and supporting the day-to-day operations of our retail banking branch. As a Branch Service Associate, you will be the face of City Savings Bank, ensuring every customer interaction leaves a positive impression whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
