Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an engineering professional to oversee maintenance across multiple branch facilities. You will manage preventive and reactive maintenance, coordinate contractors, ensure safety compliance, and monitor budgets and records.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in facilities management or multi-branch operations, with strong knowledge of building systems and Excel. Travel to branches is required; the role is full-time and branch-based.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related field.
• Licensed Engineer is an advantage.
• 2–5 years of experience in engineering, facilities management, or multi-branch operations.
• Experience managing maintenance across multiple branches is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of OH&S, fire safety, environmental rules, and building compliance.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers, technicians, and external service providers.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Willingness to travel to different branches.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of branch facilities, equipment, utilities, and building systems.
• Conduct regular branch inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, technicians, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
• Identify facility and equipment risks and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor maintenance schedules, contracts, costs, and materials.
• Coordinate with operations to address technical and maintenance concerns.
• Assist in renovations, openings, relocations, and improvement projects.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and service reports.
• Coordinate with environmental and waste management providers for proper disposal.
• Recommend improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and customer experience.
