Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Facilities Manager to develop and oversee preventive maintenance for electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment. The role supervises maintenance staff, plans upgrades, and ensures compliance with ISO 9001 and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in facilities operations, a relevant engineering degree, and license/registration. Willingness to work overtime and coordinate with multiple departments is essential.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree.
• Registered Mech Engr/ PME or REE/PEE.
• 5+ years in supervisory/managerial facilities ops in industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, wastewater, fire safety, ISO 9001.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage maintenance teams.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees preventive maintenance programs for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Supervises technicians in maintenance activities, inspections, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
• Coordinates with production and support on facility, utility, and equipment needs.
• Monitors and improves plant systems, utility consumption, and equipment performance.
• Prepares plans, specs, and cost estimates for installations and upgrades.
• Manages spare parts inventory for maintenance and operations.
• Oversees contractor activities ensuring safety and standards.
• Prepares reports to PEZA, government agencies, and stakeholders.
• Ensures ISO, environmental, OH&S compliance and company policies.
• Leads continuous improvement for efficiency, cost reduction, quality, safety.
