Job summary

ASEC Development and Construction Corporation is seeking a qualified Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to support site operations and cost controls in Laguna, Philippines.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Architecture degree, up to 1 year of estimating/QS experience, and basic MS Office and SAP knowledge. Responsibilities include BOQ accuracy, cost variation analysis, and documentation of scope changes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
• 6–12 months or 1 year of experience with estimating/quantity surveying in construction with field operations.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of Environment, Health, and Safety Standards and Procedures in the construction industry.
• Basic knowledge in cost management including planning, estimating, and accounts; intermediate knowledge in estimating principles and cost analysis.
• Basic knowledge of contracts management.
• Basic knowledge of SAP Systems.
• ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of change management, variation orders, and claims procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supports communication between the site and the support team regarding operations
• Oversee BOQ accuracy and analyze cost variations and implications
• Manage scope changes in relation to the BOQ
• Documents and records scope deviations and quantity changes
• Maintains record of work progress, executed quantities, and billings
