Job summary

Hive Health invites a detail-oriented junior Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Ortigas, Pasig. You will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain ledgers, and assist with payroll, tax records, and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has experience with QuickBooks or Xero, strong Excel skills, and a solid grasp of accounting principles. CPA is a plus, and onsite work twice a week is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero).
• Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.
• Understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and confidentiality requirements.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records: AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements: balance sheets, income statements, cash flow.
• Tax preparation and recordkeeping for taxes.
• Support audits with schedules, docs, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and internal controls.
• Oversee general ledger and postings of financial data.
• Document payroll: salaries, wages, bonuses, deductions.
• Reconcile bank statements and assets regularly.
• Monitor and report expenses against budget; collaborate with teams.
