Private Advertiser in Laguna, Philippines seeks a detail-oriented BOM Validation & Pre-Production Analyst to ensure BOM accuracy, component data, and production readiness before mass manufacturing. You will review BOMs, coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Quality to resolve discrepancies and prepare for pilot builds.
The role requires a degree in Engineering or related field, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP/MRP/PLM systems.
We are looking for a detail-oriented BOM Validation & Pre-Production Analyst to support our engineering and manufacturing teams in ensuring that product Bill of Materials (BOM), components, documentation, and production requirements are complete and accurate before production starts. The role will review and validate BOMs, identify discrepancies, coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Quality teams, and ensure that all necessary materials and information are ready for pre-production and mass production.
Review and validate BOMs for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with engineering documentation.
Check part numbers, descriptions, quantities, specifications, revisions, and approved manufacturers/suppliers.
Identify BOM discrepancies, missing information, obsolete components, and potential material issues.
Coordinate with Engineering to resolve BOM and design-related issues.
Verify component availability and support material readiness for prototype and pre-production builds.
Prepare and maintain BOM validation reports and pre-production checklists.
Review Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ensure BOM changes are properly implemented.
Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers regarding component availability and lead times.
Support preparation of materials and documentation required for pilot and pre-production builds.
Monitor and track open issues affecting production readiness.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
Experience in BOM management, manufacturing, engineering, production planning, or materials coordination is preferred.
Knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing processes is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Experience with ERP, MRP, PLM, or BOM management systems is an advantage.
Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and other cross-functional teams.
