Overview

OSM Manufacturing is seeking a talented Senior Production Planning and Material Controller to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Inventory control and management focused on tracking inventory, material accuracy, and quality.
• Ensure smooth flow of goods between the company's distribution chains and keep inventory and shipping needs up to date.
• Coordinate the transfer of raw materials, parts, and finished products between the warehouse and production areas; ensure sufficient material inventory levels to meet production schedules.
• Prepare and monitor the release of materials from the warehouse to production material staging.
• Monitor and track inventory in production material staging.
• Track materials from input to finished goods and monitor for rejects during the production process.
• Maintain an inventory bin system to store materials in production material staging.
• Control forms and documents used daily to maintain accuracy.
• Provide accurate inventory reports of Production Material Staging and Production On-Hand Materials to Production and Material Planning Controller.
• Oversee the overall movement of materials.
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• College diploma required, any field; management graduates preferred.
• 1–2 years of applicable working experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written manufacturing instructions and technical procedures.
• Demonstrated experience communicating effectively in a team environment.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, MRP/ERP, and Inventory Control systems.
