Job summary

TRI-DIMENSION METAL FABRICATION is seeking a Mechanical & Operations Coordinator to support metal fabrication operations. You will coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Fabrication/Drawing teams to ensure drawings, specs, quality, and schedules are met.

The ideal candidate has a background in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Industrial Technology, or related metal fabrication course and is comfortable working in both office and production environments.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Industrial Technology, or any metal fabrication-related course.
  • Knowledge or experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, mechanical works, or QA/QC is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and understand technical or fabrication drawings.
  • Knowledge of basic measurement and inspection tools is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, particularly Sheets.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Willing to work in both office and fabrication/production areas.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, and other departments regarding project requirements.
  • Review and understand technical/fabrication drawings and specifications.
  • Assist in checking fabricated products for dimensions, specifications, workmanship, and quality.
  • Identify production or quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Assist in monitoring materials, consumables, and project requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain production, inspection, and project-related reports.
  • Support QA/QC activities and documentation.
  • Assist in identifying process improvements and reducing production errors, rework, and delays.
  • Provide technical support to production teams when needed.
  • Assist in industrial design, product development, and fabrication feasibility.
  • Coordinate drawing revisions and technical concerns with the concerned team.
  • Perform other operations and technical support tasks as assigned by the Operations/Production Manager.
