Job summary

RELX Inc. seeks a Bilingual Customer Research & Analytics Analyst to perform web-based research on technology corporations and validate patent data by aligning records with accurate commercial owners.

You will act as the Japanese expert for the Harmonization Team, ensuring data quality and timely updates across global stakeholders while working across multiple locations and time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• JLPT N1 certification.
• Reading kanji and hiragana (intermediate to advanced).
• Experience in research, data quality and analysis (preferably as bilingual analyst).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process patent records/information primarily in Japanese.
• Serve as Japanese expert for Harmonization Team.
• Conduct internet research to maintain global patent data quality.
• Identify patent ownership from corporate structure, M&A, and filings.
• Perform quality control to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Validate and update customer information in the Harmonizer Tool.
• Ensure updates meet quality standards and SLAs.
• Meet productivity targets based on process efficiency.
• Suggest process improvements for team or individual performance.
• Communicate task and project status with stakeholders.
