About the role

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving quality coffee, beverages, and other menu items while providing excellent customer service. The Barista must maintain cleanliness, follow food and beverage safety standards, handle cash transactions properly, and help ensure smooth daily store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, espresso-based drinks, non-coffee beverages, and other menu items according to company standards.

• Take customer orders accurately and provide friendly, professional service.

• Operate coffee machines, grinders, POS/cashier system, and other store equipment.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar, equipment, dining area, and workstations.

• Check and maintain proper inventory of coffee, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies.

• Assist with opening and closing store procedures.

• Handle cash and customer payments accurately.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.

• Ensure products are properly prepared, presented, and served.

• Address customer concerns politely and refer major concerns to the supervisor.
