Role Description

The Banquet Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Nasugbu Batangas, responsible for overseeing all banquet operations from planning to execution. This role manages event setup, coordinates food and beverage service, and ensures that each function meets quality, safety, and guest satisfaction standards. The Banquet Manager leads and trains banquet staff, collaborates with the kitchen and sales teams on event requirements, and monitors inventory, equipment, and venue readiness. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing event orders, supervising service during functions, addressing guest inquiries or concerns, and maintaining accurate records of events and costs. The role also involves supporting hiring and staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for all banquet activities.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to manage guest expectations and promptly resolve issues.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with guests, team members, and cross-functional departments.
• Experience in Food & Beverage operations, including knowledge of banquet service standards, menu coordination, and basic food safety practices.
• Ability to participate in or support Hiring activities, such as interviewing, onboarding, and training banquet staff.
• Previous experience in banquet or event management within hotels or resorts is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
• Relevant education in Hospitality Management or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is an advantage.
