Job summary

MINDPRO RETAIL INC. Affliate of SM Retail in the Philippines is seeking a Bakery Supervisor to oversee daily production, ensure quality and safety standards, and lead a team of bakers.

The role focuses on scheduling, training, inventory control, and continuous improvement to meet delivery deadlines. Candidates should have a relevant degree and NCII; strong leadership and cost awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant mgmt or related field.
• NCII in Bread & Pastry preferred.
• Experience in commissary and bakery environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring targets and quality standards are met.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Allocate resources effectively including workforce, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor processes to ensure quality standards and implement corrective actions.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement productivity and cost-reduction improvements.
• Develop and manage production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Ensure safety regulations and a safe working environment.
• Maintain records of production metrics such as output, quality, and downtime.
• Address and resolve team conflicts or production issues as they arise.

• Has proven track record in both commissary operations and bakery environment is advantageous
• Proficient of bakery operations, including recipe development and production techniques.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to set effective production schedule and collaborate effectively.
• Proficient in inventory management and cost control to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Strong focus on quality assurance and meticulous attention to detail.
