Job summary

Equalynx Network Co in Philippines is seeking a Bread and Cake Baker to produce breads, cakes, and pastries in line with company recipes and quality standards. The role requires baking techniques, food safety, and production planning experience to maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Responsibilities include following standardized recipes, decorating items per orders, monitoring oven settings, and maintaining equipment and inventory. Early shifts and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; formal culinary or baking training is an advantage.
• 1–2 years of experience in a commercial bakery, café, or food production facility preferred.
• Knowledge of bread and cake production and familiarity with baking equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, cakes, pastries, and other baked products according to standardized recipes.
• Measure, mix, knead, proof, and bake dough and batters using appropriate baking methods.
• Prepare fillings, icings, frostings, and other bakery ingredients.
• Decorate cakes and pastries according to customer orders or company standards.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality, taste, and presentation standards.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and other tools.
• Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products.
• Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and supplies and report shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery and workstations in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety standards.
• Minimize product waste by following proper production and inventory procedures.
• Assist in developing new bakery products and seasonal offerings.
• Work closely with the production team to meet daily production schedules.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Bakery Supervisor or Production Manager.
