Job summary

iSupport Worldwide is seeking a Collection Specialist who collaborates across Finance, Sales and Customer Success to move aging receivables to resolution. You will engage business customers, review invoices and contracts, and negotiate payment commitments while ensuring accurate AR records.

Being organized and detail-oriented, you will monitor aging reports, resolve discrepancies, and support AR operations using NetSuite, Salesforce, and Stripe. A strong communicator will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of B2B collections, accounts receivable, or customer account management experience; 6+ years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with business clients
• Working proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas, data cleanup, and report manipulation)
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation
• Ability to analyze invoices, statements, and payment histories to resolve discrepancies
• Effective time-management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to business customers regarding past-due invoices via phone, email, and written communication.
• Review account histories, contracts, purchase orders, and billing documentation to determine appropriate collection strategies.
• Negotiate payment commitments, structured payment plans, and resolution of outstanding balances within company guidelines.
• Investigate and address issues such as short pays, disputed invoices, unapplied payments, and payment delays.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all customer interactions and collection activities.
• Monitor aging reports and prioritize follow-up to ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with Billing, Customer Support, Sales, and Finance to resolve account discrepancies or customer concerns.
• Monitor and maintain the integrity of customer account data across ERP (NetSuite), CRM (Salesforce), and billing portals.
• Independently check portals including Ariba, Coupa, and other supplier platforms for invoice status and required submissions.
• Escalate high-risk or unresponsive accounts appropriately to management.
