Job summary

VA Masters is seeking an experienced Google Ads / PPC Specialist to own the paid search program for our direct‑to‑consumer product line. You will inherit live Search and Performance Max campaigns, audit what is in place, correct what isn’t working, and drive stronger conversion performance.

This role suits someone who operates independently at an expert level. You will audit campaigns, implement optimizations, test strategies, and provide regular updates on performance and health of the accounts

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns (Search & Performance Max).
• Strong record of improving conversions and lowering CPA for e‑commerce or DTC accounts.
• Ability to audit an existing account and produce a clear action plan.
• Solid understanding of conversion tracking, GA, and reporting.
• Knowledge of keyword research, bidding strategies, targeting, and ad copy.
• Demonstrable results with clients/employers; references or case examples available.

Responsibilities

• Audit existing Google Ads Search and Performance Max campaigns and identify gaps and opportunities.
• Implement corrections to align with Google Ads best practices.
• Optimize campaigns for conversions and ROAS, beyond clicks/impressions.
• Manage keyword research, negative keywords, match types, and search term analysis.
• Write and test ad copy, headlines, descriptions, and assets for Search and PMax.
• Monitor budgets, bidding strategies, and daily account performance.
• Track conversions, CPA, and campaign results; report findings.
