Job summary

National Data and Surveying Services Inc is seeking a Business Process Automation Analyst to support digitization efforts. You will document and map current-state processes, ensure clean data, and analyze process data to identify automation opportunities.

You will build dashboards in Power BI/Tableau, translate findings into automation requirements, and assist with Lean/Six Sigma initiatives. You will collaborate with SMEs and technical teams, perform data extraction with SQL and Python, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
Proven proficiency in advanced MS Excel functions (VBA Macro) and SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and querying.
Demonstrated experience or a deep understanding of data cleaning, validation, and preparation techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Process Documentation & Mapping: Work closely with SMEs to document current-state processes using mapping and flowcharts.
Data Acquisition & Cleaning: Acquire, prepare and manage data sets; perform cleaning, validation, and scrubbing to ensure data integrity.
Data Analysis & Metrics: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify root causes and ROI for automation opportunities.
Reporting & Visualization: Develop dashboards/reports (Power BI, Tableau) tracking KPIs and highlighting improvement areas.
Requirements Gathering: Translate findings into detailed business and functional requirements for automation.
Continuous Improvement Support: Support Lean/Six Sigma approaches to remove waste.
Testing & Validation: Participate in UAT and validate output data against design.
Cross-Functional Communication: Facilitate communication between business units and the automation team.
Technical Assistance: Use SQL and Python to extract data, manipulate data, and create analytic models.
