Job summary

RELX is seeking a Business Analyst to collaborate with multiple Business Units, delivering IT solutions and services aligned with cost, quality, and strategic targets. You will gather requirements, analyze processes, and help define and test business applications under supervision.

Responsibilities include documenting current and future state workflows, qualifying AI/Automation projects, translating business needs into user stories for AI/RPA, and coordinating with Operations and Technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and experience in business analysis, process analysis, or software testing.
• Knowledge of SDLC and exposure to Power Platform, Python, SharePoint, AI or automation projects.

We are seeking a Business Analyst that will work with one or more Business Units, supporting multiple assigned projects aimed at delivering IT solutions and services that meet company cost, quality, and strategic targets. With guidance and supervision from more senior members of the team, this role will undertake requirement gathering, analysis and definition and testing of business applications and functionality.

Accountabilities

• Document before and after process maps during current state analysis and process discovery sessions.
• Pipeline Management and Qualification of AI and Automation projects.
• Analyze and document business requirements and workflows.
• Develop system specifications, process flows, and data conversion strategies.
• Create user documentation for technical and functional use.
• Adhere to established processes, protocols, and quality standards.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and elevate issues as needed.
• Build trust with stakeholders through clear communication and reliable execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, or Software Testing.
• Process mapping, process discovery, opportunity assessment, and requirements gathering.
• Ability to translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications for AI, RPA, and automation initiatives.
• Basic knowledge of SDLC and exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), Python, SharePoint, AI, or Automation projects.
• Familiarity with AI/Automation concepts such as workflow automation, prompt engineering, Copilot/ChatGPT Agents, or LLM projects.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to coordinate between Operations and Technology teams and support project delivery through documentation, testing, and user story creation.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
• Experience with reporting or e-learning tools (e.g., Easygenerator).
• Strong learning agility and willingness to upskill in AI and Automation technologies.
• For internal applicants, at least one DXO-related certification (e.g., Certified Automation Practitioner, Agile, Power BI, Lean Six Sigma certification, Python training, or other AI/Automation-related certifications.)
