Job summary

Reed Elsevier Philippines is seeking an Automation Developer with a strong focus on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to design, build, and deploy scalable automation solutions across REPH and supported units.

This role partners with OPEX leaders and business stakeholders to own development and deployment, ensuring security and governance compliance throughout the automation lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of development experience with Power Platform
• Proven automation project delivery in enterprise environments
• Hands-on Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI experience
• Experience integrating applications using connectors, APIs, and data services
• Strong understanding of workflow automation, data transformation, and reporting
• Experience with SharePoint and Excel automation (VBA)
• Excellent communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality and delivery
• Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Build end-to-end workflow automation, application development, and reporting dashboards
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain automation solutions per requirements
• Integrate solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, SharePoint, and data sources
• Monitor and troubleshoot deployments for stability and performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs during requirements and UAT
• Ensure security and governance standards before production release
• Produce technical docs including flows, designs, and user guides
• Support capability building through training and knowledge sharing
• Stay current with Power Platform enhancements and automation tech

This role will work closely with OPEX leaders, Automation Supervisors, and business stakeholders to deliver automation initiatives, primarily owning the development and deployment phases of the automation lifecycle, while ensuring compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automation solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Build end-to-end solutions, including workflow automation, application development, and reporting dashboards.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain automation solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Integrate solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, SharePoint, and data sources.
• Monitor and troubleshoot deployed automation solutions to ensure stability and performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and SMEs during requirements gathering, development, and UAT phases.
• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and governance standards before production release.
• Produce technical documentation including process flows, design documents, and user guides.
• Support automation capability building through training and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with Power Platform enhancements and emerging automation technologies.

Qualifications:
