Job summary

WeSupport, Inc. is seeking an experienced Automation Developer in Alabang, Muntinlupa City to design, develop and implement automation solutions that reduce manual processes and boost efficiency across the organisation.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Eng and 5+ years in automation development, with hands-on scripting in Python, PowerShell or similar, plus strong API integration and enterprise data systems skills. This is a contract position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, MIS, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in automation development, application support, IT operations process improvement, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining automation scripts, workflows, or frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL, VBA, C#, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with API integration, data extraction, data transformation, databases, SharePoint Lists, Dataverse, or other enterprise systems.

WeSupport, Inc. is seeking an experienced Automation Developer to join our dynamic Information and Communication Technology team. This is a contract position based in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. As an Automation Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and implementing automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual processes across the organisation. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that directly impact business productivity and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or any related field

• At least 5 years of experience in automation development, application support, IT operations process improvement, or related technical delivery roles

• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining automation scripts, workflows, or frameworks that streamline operational processes

• Working knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL, VBA, C#, or similar technologies

• Familiarity with API integration, data extraction, data transformation, databases, SharePoint Lists, Dataverse, or other enterprise systems used for automation and reporting

• Ability to analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, document requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions

• Strong understanding of testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of automation solutions

• Experience in creating technical documentation, workflow diagrams, user guides, and support materials for developed automation solutions

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple automation initiatives in a fast-paced technical environment

• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with business users, stakeholders, developers, DevOps, QA, and IT support teams

Key responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts and frameworks to automate tasks, workflows, and system processes

• Identify automation opportunities within workflows, applications, and systems in collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders

• Integrate automation solutions with existing tools, databases, and applications to streamline operations and improve data flow

• Perform rigorous testing and validation to ensure automated solutions meet required standards and perform as expected

• Continuously monitor and maintain automated systems to ensure they are functioning properly and adjust based on feedback and system changes

• Collaborate with other IT teams (software development, DevOps, QA) to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions across the organization

• Maintain clear documentation for automation scripts, tools, and processes to ensure they are easily understood and can be updated or modified as needed

• Continuously review automation processes and optimize efficiency, scalability, and performance
