About the role
The Corporate Automation Developer designs, builds, and supports enterprise automation solutions, business applications, and intelligent workflows that improve operational efficiency, data quality, and user experience across the organization. This role works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions. This role follows a Power Platform-first approach, leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot as the primary tools for solution delivery. Candidates are expected to adopt an API-first and integration-first approach, using connectors and web services whenever available, with Power Automate Desktop (RPA) reserved for UI-based automation scenarios where direct integrations are not available.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support workflow automations using Power Platform tools.
- Develop business applications and user-facing solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven).
- Build and maintain integrations between enterprise systems (e.g., SharePoint, Dataverse, and other external systems) using APIs and connectors.
- Develop Power Automate cloud flows for orchestration and process automation.
- Create Power BI reports and dashboards to support operational and executive reporting.
- Design and implement Copilot agents and AI-assisted automation patterns.
- Use Power Automate Desktop (PAD) for UI automation when APIs are not available.
- Troubleshoot issues and implement logging, monitoring, and error handling.
- Maintain documentation for solutions, integrations, and support processes.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant professional experience in automation development, application development, low-code development, or business process automation.
- Hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Experience building and supporting enterprise workflow automation and business applications.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Experience with enterprise system integrations, application lifecycle support, and solution troubleshooting.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform – Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot.
- Experience developing Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps.
- Experience building Power Automate cloud flows for workflow orchestration, process automation, and system integrations.
- Experience designing integrations using REST APIs, JSON, connectors, web services, and authentication patterns.
