Job summary

GECO Philippines is hiring an Automation Developer to design, develop, and support automation solutions that improve business efficiency and streamline IT operations. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of automation experience with Microsoft Power Platform, scripting, API integrations, and process automation, and can collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams.

Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/CS/CE/SE or related field.
• At least 5 years of automation development experience.
• Strong design, development, testing, and maintenance of automation solutions.
• Experience with Power Platform, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools and Agile or Scrum is a plus.

We are looking for a Automation Developer to design, develop, and support automation solutions that improve business efficiency and streamline IT operations. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform, scripting, API integrations, and process automation, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Deployment Setup

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and reusable automation frameworks.

• Identify opportunities to automate business and IT processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

• Develop automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and other automation technologies.

• Integrate automation solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and business systems.

• Perform testing, validation, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation workflows.

• Monitor and maintain existing automation solutions, implementing enhancements as business requirements evolve.

• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver automation initiatives.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, workflow diagrams, and user guides.

• Continuously improve automation performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Support automation-related incidents, enhancements, and production deployments when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or any related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in automation development, IT operations, application support, or process automation.

• Strong experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining automation solutions.

• Hands-on experience with one or more automation platforms such as:

  • Microsoft Power Automate

  • Power Apps

  • Power BI

  • AI Builder

  • UiPath

  • Other RPA or low-code platforms

• Experience with scripting or programming languages such as:

  • Python

  • PowerShell

  • JavaScript

  • SQL

  • VBA

  • C#

• Experience working with APIs, SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL databases, and enterprise system integrations.

• Strong understanding of automation testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Experience documenting technical solutions, workflows, and user guides.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with business users and cross-functional IT teams.

• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools is an advantage.

• Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred.

• Knowledge of AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, or AI-powered automation is a plus.

• Willing to work the assigned shift (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM SGT) and provide support during critical business needs.
