Job summary

NORTH TREND MARKETING CORPORATION in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a growing network of automotive and motorcycle service centers. You will drive PMS program standardization, safety compliance, and branch performance across multiple sites.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of automotive maintenance, and the ability to expand the service network while ensuring profitability and high service quality across branches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Strong experience in automotive service-center, workshop, tire, lubricant, quick-service, aftermarket, or multi-branch retail/service operations.
• Strong practical knowledge of PMS for passenger cars.
• Understanding vehicle maintenance per manufacturer recommendations and service history.
• Knowledge of engine oil, tires, braking systems, batteries, and basic electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and performance of automotive and motorcycle service centers.
• Develop and standardize PMS programs, technical standards, SOPs, and quality-control procedures.
• Conduct branch visits, operational/technical audits, and performance reviews.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity, profitability, customer satisfaction, and service quality.
• Lead new service center expansion, site evaluation, branch setup, and operational readiness.
• Ensure manpower, tools, equipment, inventory, and technical capabilities across branches.
• Develop training and competency programs for technicians, service advisors, and branch personnel.
• Ensure vehicle inspections, maintenance recommendations, safety, and technical service standards.
• Manage inventory, workshop equipment, facilities, and safety compliance.

Job Summary

Responsible for managing, developing, standardizing, and expanding the company’s automotive and motorcycle service center network. The role oversees operations, preventive maintenance standards, service quality, profitability, and branch growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and performance of automotive and motorcycle service centers.

• Must understand vehicle maintenance requirements based on manufacturer recommendations, mileage, operating conditions, and service history.


• Must have working knowledge of engine oil and lubrication; tires and wheel alignment; braking systems; batteries and basic automotive electrical systems; automotive fluids and filters; cooling systems; transmission and drivetrain fluids; steering and suspension; and vehicle safety and health inspection.


• Able to review and develop PMS checklists, maintenance schedules, service packages, and technical SOPs.


• Able to identify whether service recommendations are technically appropriate and necessary.


• Strong understanding of workshop workflow, service-bay operations, job control, quality control, safety, and equipment utilization.


• Strong understanding of KPI management and service-center profitability.


• Strong leadership, people-management, analytical, and business-development capability.


• Experience managing or supporting multiple branches is preferred.


• Experience scaling retail or automotive service networks is an advantage.


• Automotive technical training or certification is an advantage.
