The Business Operations & Sales Head will provide overall leadership for the organization's sales and operational functions, with accountability for business growth, branch performance, profitability, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
The role will lead the development and execution of commercial and operational strategies, oversee performance across multiple branches, identify opportunities for market expansion, and ensure that teams consistently deliver against business targets and service standards.
This position will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen business performance, optimize resources, improve operational processes, and support the organization's continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Business & Commercial Leadership
- Develop and execute integrated sales and operations strategies aligned with overall business objectives, revenue targets, profitability goals, and expansion plans.
- Take overall accountability for business performance across the branch network, including sales, revenue, profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion, customer acquisition, new business development, and revenue growth.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, customer behavior, and branch performance to identify opportunities and develop appropriate business strategies.
- Translate organizational goals into clear business plans, operational priorities, and measurable performance targets.
Sales & Branch Performance
- Lead and oversee sales performance across branches, ensuring achievement of revenue, volume, productivity, and profitability targets.
- Establish and monitor branch-level KPIs, sales targets, productivity measures, and performance standards.
- Work closely with branch leaders and sales teams to identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
- Strengthen sales processes, customer acquisition initiatives, sales conversion, and customer retention strategies.
- Ensure consistent execution of sales programs, promotions, and commercial initiatives across branches.
- Review branch performance regularly and provide recommendations to improve revenue generation and overall business results.
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operational performance across the branch network, ensuring efficient, consistent, and customer-focused operations.
- Review and optimize operational processes, workflows, manpower deployment, resource allocation, and cost structures.
- Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, operating procedures, controls, and service standards across all branches.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and lead initiatives to improve productivity, cost management, service delivery, and overall operating performance.
- Ensure branches have the appropriate manpower, resources, systems, and processes required to achieve business objectives.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of branch operations while allowing appropriate flexibility based on local market requirements.
Financial & Performance Management
- Monitor revenue, profitability, operating expenses, and other key financial and operational indicators across the business.
- Partner with Finance and other relevant functions in budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and financial performance reviews.
- Use business and financial data to evaluate performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support management decision-making.
- Develop and present regular business performance reviews and actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, develop, and motivate branch, sales, and operations leaders toward achievement of business objectives.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer service, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear performance expectations and ensure effective performance management across teams.
- Identify talent and develop succession and capability-building initiatives for key leadership positions.
- Foster strong collaboration between Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, and other support functions.
Customer Experience & Operational Excellence
- Champion customer experience and service excellence across all branches.
- Establish and monitor service standards to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Address recurring customer and operational issues by identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices across sales and operational functions.
Expansion & Strategic Initiatives
- Support the organization's expansion strategy through market assessment, branch performance analysis, operational planning, and implementation of growth initiatives.
- Provide operational and commercial input for new branch openings, expansion projects, and other strategic business initiatives.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects that contribute to organizational growth and operational improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of progressive managerial experience in sales, operations, retail, dealership, or other multi-site business environments.
- Experience managing multiple branches, geographically dispersed operations, or large frontline teams is highly preferred.
- Background in retail, dealerships, automotive, food service, consumer-facing businesses, or other branch-based operations is an advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets while maintaining operational and profitability objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in improving operational efficiency, productivity, cost management, and customer experience.
- Strong exposure to business planning, KPI management, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
