Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced payroll/bookkeeping professional with AU payroll expertise to join our team in the Philippines. You will manage payroll for Australian clients, including timesheet data entry, payroll tax calculations, STP reporting, and bank reconciliations.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience, SMSF background, and strong familiarity with Xero, MYOB/Micropay, and related accounting tools.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience with Australian clients, ideally handling multiple at one time.
• Background in SMSF preferred.
• Accurately process timesheets in data entry.
• Handle calculations for higher pay, back pay, termination pay and tax adjustments.
• Set up new employee records in payroll system and verify personnel file details.
• Review payroll exception reports for accuracy.
• Distribute payslips.
• STP reporting.
• Invoicing, AP/AR.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Preparation of BAS & IAS.
• Xero setup for new entities.
• Preparation of annual accounts.
• Reconciliation of BAS.
• Payroll & payroll tax preparation & reconciliation.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in bookkeeping.
• Strictly with AU experience.

Responsibilities

• Process Australian payroll accurately and efficiently.
• Perform payroll tax calculations and adjustments.
• Set up and verify new employee records and data.
• Generate payslips and STP reports.
• Handle BAS/IAS preparation and BAS reconciliations.
• Manage invoicing, AP/AR and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain Xero records and support new entity setups.
• Prepare annual accounts and payroll tax reconciliation.
